The Kitchen

 

 The only real theme in the kitchen is pops of color, any color, with stainless steel + black. It's bright and cheerful and in no way matchy-matchy.

 I got that hand carved cutting board in Costa Rica. Similarly the Alaskan Ulu, and bamboo coasters from Oahu, we try to get useful souvenirs.

 Wine cork journaling. Pinterest inspired, of course. When we drink a good wine that has an actual cork, not the synthetic kind, we document the date, occasion, and/or who we drank it with. Plus, then we remember the name of the wine we liked so much.
