Master Bath/Closet

Master Bathroom

This is one room I actually thought to snap some "befores" of before getting to work. It isn't finished,  but a lot has been upgraded. Starting with sanding and staining every single wood surface. Builder grade light oak doesn't do it for me. Black suits us much better.

(still need to build/stain a matching frame around the mirror)

We added brushed nickel hardware to all cupboards and drawers

Sanding/staining included 2 doors, frames, and the trim around the entire room

We mounted a mirrored medicine cabinet(so necessary!) and floating shelf for the stereo(music while you shower also pretty necessary.)

Atlas mason jar soap pump I made using this tutorial and my favorite mug (from my Grandma) for our toothbrushes

This is literally the most contained and un-messy my make-up has ever been. Still on the counter, but contained.

Cabo Wabo Tequila bottle, anyone? Those are my favorite and pop up in about every room of the house.

Walk-In Closet

The other side of the bathroom leads into our master closet. If these photos lead you to believe it's a very semi organized cluster of clothes, that's because it is.
The best part of the closet is that it can fit my huge dresser inside it(plus Mike's smaller dresser) so we don't have to incorporate those furniture items into part of the bedroom "decor"

"Hers" side (technically 3 of the 4 sides are hers)
 "His" side
This is actually a trouser rack. I spray painted it and Mike uses it instead to corral his tie collection. PS that old tie-turned-snake was a Father's Day craft Zoe made a few years ago.
